  • OPTIONS+ wide-neck bottle featuring a patented internal air circulation system. It reduces colic, spit-up, and gas buildup.

Clinical studies have proven that the patented internal air circulation system prevents symptoms of colic, bloating, and spit-up, while helping to preserve vitamins A, C, and E as well as lipids essential for a baby's healthy development. It aids digestion and supports better sleep patterns.

OPTIONS+ features an improved, patented internal air circulation system that reduces colic, spit-up, burping, and gas buildup. It helps preserve vitamins A, C, and E and lipids necessary for a baby's healthy development. Using a bottle with an internal air circulation system helps your child avoid intestinal issues, makes food easier to digest, and improves vitamin absorption. It comes with a soft silicone nipple shaped like a mother's breast for a more natural feeding experience. Free from BPA (bisphenol A), PVC, and lead. This is the first bottle designed to grow with your child; it can be used either with or without the air circulation system. While we recommend using the bottle with the internal air circulation system, once the child is older and no longer experiences intestinal discomfort, the system can be removed to allow for faster milk flow and quicker feeding.

How the internal air circulation system works. When the bottle is tilted, air enters the internal air circulation system (the tube) through the bottle collar and rises to the top without mixing with the milk. This prevents air bubbles from forming in the milk and stops a vacuum from developing in the bottle, ensuring the teat does not collapse. Feeding is more comfortable for the baby because the milk flows freely, just like from the breast. Every baby has unique feeding habits that are not determined by age or height. To meet individual needs, Dr. Brown’s offers teats with different flow rates. Teats must be replaced regularly.

When to replace the teat: If, during feeding, your baby chokes, struggles to swallow, coughs, spills milk from their mouth, refuses the bottle, struggles to suck, takes longer to feed, appears lethargic or irritable, or falls asleep while feeding. Only Options+ teats are compatible with Options+ wide-neck bottles.
